The Government of Uttar Pradesh and UP Basic Education Board,Allahabad jointly conducts the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2014.UP Basic Education Board(UPBEB) is a nodal agency for conducting TET exams and recruitment of Teachers. UPTET 2014 exam is a eligibility test for B.Ed qualified candidates to be considered as a teachers in both primary and upper primary schools in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

This year UPTET 2014 notification released in the month of December 2013 and last date for submission of online applications ended on 21st January, 2014. lakhs of applicants are applied for Uttar Pradesh TET 2014 exam. UPTET exam pattern contains two papers.Paper-I is for candidates applied for primary school teachers (Class I-V) and  paper-II is for upper primary school teachers(Class VI-VIII). The applicants who want to become a teacher for I-VIII classes need to write both papers.
