BIS Scientists recruitment 2013 - Apply for 115 posts

Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has recently issued the requirement notification to fill up 115 posts of Scientists in various disciplines. So the candidates who are interested and eligible for BIS recruitment may apply online application at www.bis.org.in on before last date 24th December, 2013. Vacancy Details:

Mechanical Engineering - 31 posts (UR-13, OBC-09, SC-06, ST-03)

Civil  Engineering - 24 posts (UR-10, OBC-07, SC-04, ST-03)

Metallurgical Engineering - 9 posts (UR-04, OBC-02, SC-02, ST-01)

Chemical  Engineering - 8 posts (UR-04, OBC-02, SC-01, ST-01)

Computer Engineering/ Computer Science - 10 posts (UR-13, OBC-09, SC-06, ST-03)

Electrical Engineering - 31 posts (UR-04, OBC-03, SC-02, ST-01)

Textile  Engineering - 2 posts (UR-01, OBC-01, SC-00, ST-00)

Pay scale - Rs.15600- Rs.39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent in Mechanical  Engineering, Civil Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical  Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer  Engineering/ Computer Science, Textile  Engineering with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST candidates).

Age Limit:

The candidates age limit must be between 21-27 years of age as on 01.12.2013. Age relaxation benefits as per the rules.

Application Fee:

Rs. 750/-for general category candidates. reserved category candidates are no need to pay any application fee.The application should be pay in online mode only.

Selection Procedure:

candidates will be selected based on their performance in online examination and qualified candidates will be called for personal interview.
