Assam Public Service Commission (APSC),Guwahati recently issued the employment advertisement for the eligible candidates to recruit 450 posts of medical and health officers in grade -1 under health and family welfare department and 33 posts of assistant professors in cotton college ,Guwahati under higher education department.So interested and eligible candidates may apply on before last date 10th October,2013. Educational Qualification:
The candidates who are applying for post of medical and health officer have minimum MBBS qualification having registration under Assam medical council ,1960.
The candidates who are applying for post of assistant professor have master degree from any recognized university India having minimum of 55% marks and should be passed in UGC NET examination.
Age Limit:
minimum of 21 years and maximum of 38 years as on January 01,2013
age relaxation for reserved category candidates applicable as per the Govt rules.
Application Fee:
Application which are signed by the candidates accompanied by all particulars including original treasury challan for RS.5/- for unreserved category candidates and Rs.2.50/- for SC/ST .The application fee showing name of post and department and also full head account 'NON TAX REVENUE-OTHER NON TAX REVENUE-0051-PSC,102-STATE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION APPLICATION/ EXAMINATION FEE RECEIPT OF A.P.S.C.’
Selection Procedure:
The Assam PSC may shortlist the number of candidates based on the marks obtained in the examination or based on screening test conducted by the commission.
