The Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test(AP SET) is a common Entrance test for candidates to join as lecturers and professors in degree colleges and universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh. AP SLET exam is renamed as APSET from 2012 onwards. The Osmania University,Hyderabad on behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh conducts the AP SET 2013 Entrance Exam.
The Member and Secretary of the AP SET-2013 prof Rajeshwar Reddy has said that APSET 2013 notification will be released on July 1st 2013.The Andhra Pradesh SET-2013 candidates can apply online application from July 5th,2013 onwards. This year AP State Eligibility Test will be conducted on September 22nd,2013. Andhra SET 2013 exam will be conducted in 27 subjects.For more details visit official portal http://www.apset.org.
APSET Eligibility Criteria:
The applicants must have completed master Degree or pursuing final year post graduate degree in related subjects from UGC recognized universities with minimum 55% marks for General and BC candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PH/VH candidates.
APSET-2013 Registration Fee:
- ` 700 for OC
- ` 500 for BC
- ` 250 for SC/ST/PH/VH
Registration fee has to be paid through bank challan by downloading for official website or you can also pay application fee at aponline and meeseva centers.
AP-SET 2013 Scheme of Examination :
The APSET-2013 exam will be conducted in objective mode.The exam will consists of three papers with multiple choice questions and test will be held on three different sessions. There will be no negative marking.
