APGENCO (Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited) invites applications from for the posts of 361 Fireman & Security Guards Vacancies. APGENCO is the largest Power Generating Company of Andhra Pradesh State and is the 3rd largest Power Utility (8924.9 MW) in India and has second Highest Hydel capacity in the Country desires to be the best power utility in the country and one of the best in the world, has issued notification for the recruitment of 361 Fireman & Security Guard Vacancies. - Firemen : 120 Posts
- Security Guards : 241 Posts
Qualifications:
For General Recruitment Candidates: Must have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh including mere appearance for first and Second year examination of Intermediate in-respect of SC/ST candidates.
For Land Loosers: Must have possessed Intermediate or SSC + ITI 2 years duration course.
Application Registration Fee:
- For OC Candidates (non-refundable): Rs.500/- (Rs.350/- towards examination fee and Rs.150/- towards application registration fee).
- For Candidates belonging to BC, SC & ST communities. Ex-Servicemen/ Meritorious sports persons, Land Loosers (non-refundable): Rs.150/-.
- For Candidates belonging to other states (non-refundable): Rs.500/- (Rs.350/- towards examination fee and Rs.150/- towards application registration fee).
Physical Standards:
The candidates should have physical measurement as detailed below :
- Height: Must not be less than 167.6 cm.
- Chest: Must not be less than 86.3 cm round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cm..
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test. How to Apply: Candidates should apply online only. and the Candidates applying for the posts under Land Loosers quota shall submit one copy of online application along with attested copies of certificates i.e., SSC, ITI (2 years duration course), Community, Physical Fitness Certificate along with the records referred in Note (iii) under para-2 of the notification shall simultaneously be sent by Registered Post to Joint Secretary (Per), APGENCO, R.No.252, ‘A’ Block, 2nd Floor, Vidyut Soudha, Khairatabad, Hyderabad – 500082.
